USWNT Welcomes New Player

The US Women's National Team has welcomed their first and only member with a limb difference: Carson Pickett. Pickett was born without a left hand and forearm, but that hasn’t stopped her from becoming a major soccer star. The 28-year-old joined the team in June and recently played in her first match, where she was a force to be reckoned with on the field and helped her teammates defeat Colombia. Pickett hopes to inspire people to love one another despite their differences and uses social media to talk about her limb difference. Next time you’re watching a USWNT game, make sure to cheer on player #26!
