Time Out has released their annual list of the best cities in the world for 2025. The list is curated based on input from locals about culture, arts, dining, nightlife, accessibility, green space, safety, livability and more. Taking the number one spot on the list is Cape Town, South Africa, thanks to its beautiful scenery, eclectic food scene, affordability, and range of activities available. Four cities in the U.S. made the list– New York City (#3), New Orleans (#6), Chicago (#11), and Los Angeles (#40). Bangkok was cited as one of the world’s friendliest cities and is full of unique parks and a vibrant food scene, landing in second place. Other highlighted cities include Melbourne, Mexico City, Copenhagen, Tokyo, Edinburgh, Marrakech, Marseille, and Seoul. Check out the full list here!
