As if being a parent to quintuplets wasn’t crazy enough, Chad Kempel decided to bring his kids along for a half marathon. Kempel broke the world record for fastest half marathon with quintuplets in tow, finishing in 2 hours and 19 minutes. The five four-year-olds, Lincoln, Noelle, Grayson, Preston, and Gabriella, added an extra 240 pounds of weight to the 13.1 mile journey. Kempel’s wife and two other daughters were excitedly waiting at the finish line.
In 2019, the athletic dad ran beyond a marathon with the five kids— he went 27.3 miles to honor the 27 weeks and 3 days his wife carried the kids.
