What kind of work do you do in the Philippines?
In the Philippines, nearly half the population survives on less than $2 a day. For families with children who have special needs, living in poverty is even more challenging. Mothers are forced to decide between caring for their children and working, making it difficult to provide for their families. Our goal is to uplift the lives of these underprivileged children through education and healthcare, and to alleviate some of the burdens faced by these parents. We transform the lives of children with disabilities in the Philippines by providing them with nutrition-rich formula, hygiene supplies, medication, and quality medical care.
How about your work in Ukraine?
Ukraine is facing an ongoing military conflict which has had a devastating impact on the lives of millions of people. Children are often among the hardest hit, facing limited access to healthcare and basic necessities. In Ukraine, we address the critical needs of children by providing essential supplies, rehabilitation therapy, and medical care, enabling children to overcome challenges and build a brighter future. We work closely with families and charity partners to ensure every child we support receives the care and attention they need to thrive, even in the face of war.
Can you tell me about your emergency medical work?
We are committed to delivering urgent and life-saving medical care to children who require emergency medical procedures. In impoverished communities, limited access to proper medical facilities places many children at risk. With your support, we can bridge this gap and bring hope to those in critical need. These emergency medical procedures include surgeries, bloodwork, MRIs, ultrasounds, and specialized care. We work to be a steadfast force that ensures immediate assistance when it matters most, offering children the chance to thrive and embrace the bright future they deserve.
