When Grandma Barbara wrote a children’s book called “More! More! More!” over 50 years ago, all the publishing houses rejected her submission. Barbara gave up on the idea, but always kept a copy of the book in her home. Decades later, Barbara’s grandson Chad has made her literary dreams come true. In a surprise gift, Chad self-published the book for his grandmother and made it available online and on Amazon. The colorful story is about a friendship between two young girls who come from extremely different backgrounds. Barbara and Chad expected the book to make a few sales, but “More! More! More!” quickly landed a spot on Amazon’s bestseller list. Grandma Barbara was completely shocked by her newfound success, and is forever grateful to her grandson for helping her reach this milestone.
