Dining on the Edge of Space

The space tourism company Zephalto is opening a Michelin-star level restaurant that sits on the edge of space. Diners will enjoy a multiple-course meal and French wine while sitting inside a pressurized capsule that is attached to a stratospheric balloon. The capsule, which has been named Celeste, will catapult 15.5 miles into the sky, giving diners the chance to see Earth’s curvature. Each trip on Celeste will host six guests and two pilots and will last for 90 minutes. Pre-reservation tickets are currently available for $10,900 per person, and seats are already booked up through mid-2025.
