A car history expert went on an epic road trip to reunite his 1933 Austin 10 Saloon with all of its previous owners. Carl Slater found the car’s log book when he purchased the vehicle last year, and was able to track down all of the past owners on Facebook. His journey began with a visit to a Shropshire cottage where the first owner, Elizabeth Morris, lived until her death in 1943. Slater drove all over England to connect with other owners and swap stories about the vehicle. With each visit, Slater learned more about the car and all that it had been through over the last 90 years. Although the road trip was planned as a way for Slater to learn more about the car’s history, he ended up making tons of new friends around England in the process.
