America’s Field Trip

The organization America250 is accepting applications to participate in the field trip of a lifetime to celebrate the United States’ quarter-millennial. The 75 students who land a spot on the trip will travel to various famous monuments and locations around the country. The itinerary includes the Statue of Liberty, Yellowstone National Park, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Smithsonian Institute, the Library of Congress, and more. To apply, students must answer the question “What does America mean to you?” in a short essay. America250 is covering the cost of all travel, lodging, and access to experiences on the trip, making it entirely free for participants. Winners will be announced in June and the trip begins in July.
